Hunter joined UMS in July of 2020 and serves as a Senior Analyst. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, with minors in Mathematics and Data Science, and later obtained his Master of Science in Business Analytics, also from UNCW.
He holds both Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Business Energy Professional (BEP) certifications, bringing strong analytical and technical expertise to his role. He specialized in electric usage audits, database optimization, and customer data analysis, and has led multiple projects including government task orders and large commercial engagements. He has also presented at industry conferences on topics such as curtailable and interruptible electric rates, and has twice served as a panelist at the World Energy Conference.
Outside of work, Hunter enjoys playing volleyball, running and spending time with his two dogs, Soul and Sloan.
