Bob brings extensive experience in the energy sector, beginning his career with the U.S. Army where he managed utility billing for reimbursable tenants and calculated utility rates across multiple installations. Following utilities deregulation, he worked with the Defense Logistics Agency to secure lower natural gas rates and improved contract terms for the Pentagon and other federal facilities in the Washington, D.C. area.
He later joined the Army Corps of Engineers, where he trained installation energy managers on optimizing utility rates and improving reimbursements. While reviewing utility invoices, Bob frequently identified billing errors, helping recover credits for overcharges. He also earned the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification through the Association of Energy Engineers, further strengthening his expertise in utility cost management.
