Utility Management Services, Inc. Announces New EV Charging Station
Wilmington– April 2022– Utility Management Services has a public EV charging station in their parking lot at 6317 Oleander Drive in Wilmington. Duke Energy installed the 1st of the EV level 2 Park & Plug charging stations in the State, enabling the public access to an EV charging station in the area.

1st Level 2 EV Charging Station
Many will be able to benefit from the conveniently located public charging station. Duke has been ordered by the NC Utility Commission to install 160 level two charging stations across the state of North Carolina in public locations. This is part of their Park and Plug initiative to support the push for carbon emissions-free travel. The program also includes installing 16 level-one fast-charging stations and charging stations for 15 electric school buses.
